FOSTERING IMAGINATION & EDUCATION SINCE 1964

The National Capital Puppetry Guild (NCPG), a chartered guild of the Puppeteers of America since 1964, is dedicated to sharing and promoting the Puppet Arts with the greater National Capital Area and beyond through workshops, performances, and special events. We partner beginners with experts in the spirit of collaboration, communication, and community and passionately believe that puppetry fosters imagination and education while telling the story of our human experience.

Since 2020, we are a primarily virtual organization that presents nearly all of our programming online. NCPG's successful virtual puppetry festivals brought in members from 32 US States, Puerto Rico, and 14 countries including Wales, Kenya, South Africa, Switzerland, England, Scotland, Columbia, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, India, and Canada. The guild continues to serve a global membership today.
