The NCPG is dedicated to sharing and promoting the Puppet Arts with the greater National Capital Area through workshops, performances, and special events. We partner beginners with experts in the spirit of collaboration, communication, and community. We passionately believe that puppetry fosters imagination and education while telling the story of our human experience.

Membership Benefits
Our guild has an active virtual engagement with Guild Meetings on a variety of topics of interest to puppeteers, casual times to "talk shop" in our Puppet Lobby, and our open mic "Potpourri" meetings on Zoom. All members of the Guild are welcome to these virtual meetings as part of their membership. Guild members are also subscribed to Puppetimes, a twice yearly publication, and our Member Newsletter (on Mailchimp) where you can find links to all meetings.

For our in-person meetups, Make-a-thons, and specialized programming, there may be additional fees or suggested donations. We also are having more in-person meetups/field trips; local members are always encouraged to attend! ​
